To get your website and email working, your domain needs to be connected to your hosting.
The easiest way to do this is by updating your nameservers.
Step 1: Find Your Nameservers
Your nameservers are provided in your welcome email.
They will look something like:
- ns1.yourhosting.co.uk
- ns2.yourhosting.co.uk
Make sure you use the exact ones provided to you.
Step 2: Log In to Your Domain Provider
Go to the website where you bought your domain.
This might be:
- Little Moo Hosting
- Or another provider (e.g. GoDaddy, 123 Reg, etc.)
Step 3: Find Nameserver Settings
Look for something like:
- DNS settings
- Nameservers
- Domain management
Every provider is slightly different, but it’s usually easy to find.
Step 4: Update Your Nameservers
Replace your current nameservers with the ones from your welcome email.
Save your changes.
Step 5: Wait for It to Update
Nameserver changes aren’t instant:
- Most updates happen within a few hours
- In some cases, it can take up to 24 hours
Once complete, your domain will be connected to your hosting.
If You Bought Your Domain Through Us
If your domain was purchased through Little Moo Hosting, it may already be connected.
If your website or email is working, there’s nothing else you need to do.
Common Issues
Website not loading?
Your domain may still be updating - give it a bit more time.
Email not working yet?
Email will start working once your domain is fully connected.
Not sure if it’s worked?
Check if your website loads - that’s usually the easiest sign.
